ECU / TCU Remapping

Unlock the performance your car already has — safely, reliably, and without a single new part under the bonnet.

What Is a Remap,
In Plain English?

Every modern car is run by a small computer called the ECU (Engine Control Unit). It decides how much fuel to inject, how much boost the turbo makes, when to spark, and dozens of other settings — thousands of times a second. Cars with automatic gearboxes have a second computer, the TCU (Transmission Control Unit), that controls shift timing and firmness.

From the factory, these computers are deliberately tuned conservatively — to cope with poor fuel, extreme climates, lazy servicing and strict emissions targets across dozens of markets. That leaves real, usable performance locked away.

A remap (also called "chipping" or "tuning") rewrites that software with maps calibrated for your exact car and how you actually drive — releasing that hidden performance while staying inside safe mechanical limits.

What You Actually
Feel Afterwards

Sharper Response

The throttle wakes up. The car feels eager and immediate instead of dull off the line and laggy through the turbo.

Stronger Mid-Range

More torque where you drive every day — overtakes, inclines and highway pulls become effortless, not a downshift-and-pray affair.

Smarter Economy

Extra low-down torque means less throttle for the same speed. Drive gently and many owners see a genuine dip in fuel use.

Smoother Shifts

On autos, a TCU tune sharpens shift timing, raises shift points and firms up changes so the gearbox keeps up with the new power.

Stage 1, 2 or 3?

Tuning is done in "stages" — each one asks a little more of the car and, above Stage 1, some supporting hardware.

A diagnostic tool plugged in to reflash the ECU — Stage 1, software only
S1

Stage 1 — Software Only

A pure remap on an otherwise standard car. No new parts, biggest bang for the buck, and the safest, most popular choice. Perfect for daily drivers who want their car to finally feel alive.

Intake and exhaust breathing hardware in the engine bay — Stage 2 supporting upgrades
S2

Stage 2 — Software + Basic Hardware

Tuned around a few breathing upgrades — typically an intake and a freer-flowing exhaust or downpipe. More power, and the map is rewritten to match the new hardware.

A turbocharged performance engine build — Stage 3 big-power setup
S3

Stage 3 — Built for Big Numbers

Serious hardware — larger turbo, upgraded internals, fuelling and cooling — with a fully custom map. For enthusiasts chasing maximum performance on a dedicated build.

"But Is It Safe?"

The most common — and most fair — question we get. Here's how we keep a remap reliable.

Within Safe Limits

We tune to the engine's engineered headroom, never past it. The factory safety margins that protect your car stay intact.

Live Data Logged

Every map is validated with live data — air/fuel ratios, knock, boost and temperatures — so nothing is left to guesswork.

Fully Reversible

We back up your original file first. Your car can be returned to bone-stock any time — for service, resale or warranty visits.

Made For Your Car

Maps are matched to your exact engine, fuel quality and driving — not a generic file copied off the internet.
